Charleston, SC will be the site of our AstenJohnson University class on Pulp Machine Operation. Come join your peers and further your knowledge about pulp machine operation.

This intensive 2 ½ day session is designed for individuals who are operationally focused such as Superintendents, Machine Managers, Process Engineers or other leaders. The course material which is used to facilitate discussion also makes this training extremely valuable for Pulp operations leaders with a non-machine background. The class size is limited (20 max) to maximize discussion and interactions.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

Fabrics and Press Felts Fundamentals: Learn key parameters of woven fabrics, how to use drainage and fiber support index and how it can impact your operations.
Forming: Participate in roundtables and presentations on Headbox, Fourdrinier and Top Wire formers, table setup, sheet quality, process optimization and new technology. You will find new approaches to addressing the challenges on your former.
Pressing: Press discussion will include Rolls, Showering, key learnings for optimization, troubleshooting, new technology, vacuum box operation in the press section. Case studies that share improvement opportunities are sure to give you ideas for improvement on your press section.

Pricing: for the course is $800.

Note the tuition covers your hotel room, meals and all training materials. You will be housed at the Hyatt Place in Charleston, SC. The only additional expense to you will be your travel costs to and from Charleston.
