ISOFORM platform of four joined ISOFLO® units. Traditional space between units is eliminated to maximize forming lengths and control activity and drainage.
Description
ISOFORM is a patented system of early drainage units connected to form a continuous platform for complete control of drainage and activity
The system typically includes three or more lovac units that can include an enclosed forming board. All units can be designed to operate under negative pressure or as gravity units to provide the widest possible range of control. Through elimination of the usual space between units, maximum use is made of forming length.
ISOFORM is particularly suited to applications that have a wide range of basis weights and speeds
Cover Features
"T" spacing is designed for three pulse frequencies on most paper machines
All units will accept any blade technology, e.g., flat blades, angled foils, agitator styles
Covers can be designed to retard drainage while providing activity
Covers can be designed to provide maximum drainage in the shortest possible distance
Operating Features
The ISOFORM platform can be supplied with a low vacuum system to give the paper maker a complete range of control over the forming area
The units can operate in the gravity drainage mode with conventional flat and angled blade technology
The units can operate with ISOFLO pulsative drainage technology
The ISOFORM system can mix all modes to provide a full set of tools for drainage and activity control
Design Features
316L stainless steel construction
Vertically adjustable mounts included with each unit
Blades are T-mounted for immediate change of configuration
Units can be disconnected and the table arranged conventionally
Johnson patented T-bars are mounted on full length, precision machined bearer bars for even,
"streak-free" dewatering
Custom designed for all machine widths and speeds
Vacuum connections on drive side
2" (50 mm) bleed valve on tend side included
1/2" (12.7 mm) NPT gage/manometer connection on each end
