Each DUR-LOC®cover element can be replaced without removing the cover of the unit
DUR-LOC® substructure with 316SS machine direction supports can be designed to accommodate pressure drops up to or in excess of 20" Hg (67.54 kPa)
DUR-LOC®covers for high vacuum units are manufactured in flat, curved or special profile designs to suit new or existing installations
Rigid cover assemblies are bolted directly to new hivac units or designed to accommodate existing hivac cover configurations
Uninterrupted slots remove water evenly
Available in standard slot widths of 1" (25 mm), 3/4" (19 mm), 5/8" (16 mm) and 1/2" (13 mm); numbers of slots and widths are custom selected for each application
Elements can be supplied in a wide variety of ceramic materials carefully chosen and tested for paper machine operation
Elements are manufactured with chamfered or doctoring profiles to suit the application on the machine
Custom shapes can be designed
The DUR-LOC® element's FRP sub-base has a coefficient of thermal expansion consistent with the ceramic used
Individually adjustable end deckle pieces seal at wire level
Special high temperature deckles are available for service under steam hoods
Lubri-deckles are available to provide extra lubrication at fabric edges
