DURAFOIL® Outsert

  • Ceramic forms the entire nose and foil land
  • Ceramic segment train is mounted in an economical polyethylene base
  • Ceramic segments are mechanically locked in place
  • Damaged ceramic segments can be easily replaced in the mill
  • Ceramic segments can be remounted in new polyethylene bases if machine conditions change
  • Lighter than Full Ceramic design

DURAFOIL® Insert

  • Trapezoidal ceramic segment is placed at the point of highest fabric pressure
  • Ceramic segment train is mounted in an economical polyethylene base
  • Ceramic segments are mechanically locked in place
  • Damaged ceramic segments can be easily replaced in the mill
  • Ceramic segments can be remounted in new polyethylene bases if machine conditions change
  • Ceramic segments are protected from lead edge damage by the more easily repaired, polyethylene nose
  • Lightest of the ceramic foil family

All surfaces can be supplied in the following ceramics:

  • Premium Aluminum Oxide (PAO) 99.5% Pure
  • Aluminum Oxide (AD96) 96% Pure
