| NeutraPlane™ |
|
|
The NeutraPlane dryer fabric provides a unique construction with flat monofilament yarn in both the machine direction and the cross machine direction. The result is a design that enhances contact area and cross direction stability. The flat cross direction strands in the fabric reduce the fabric profile and alter the neutral line to reduce sheet stresses in single tier applications. The exceptionally smooth surface reduces marking and boundary air carrying for reduced sheet flutter and improved runnability.
Benefits
- Low caliper for reduced sheet stress
- Black color for use with optical sheet break detectors
- High contact smooth surface
- Reduced sheet disturbance
- Non-marking surface
Applications
- Single tier and uno-run positions
- High speed paper machines where sheet control is critical
- Positions where optical sheet break detectors are used
