Application

AUTOVAC 2 is a three-way, air pressure activated, low vacuum controller for accurate regulation of p in the range of 0-60" (0-1500 mm) H2O. Applications include all lovac units on any grade of paper where vacuum accuracy and rapid response are critical.

Operating Features

• Accurate control of p to within ±_" (±6 mm) H2O in the range of 0-60" (0-1500 mm) H2O
• Particularly sensitive and accurate in the 0-10" (0-25 mm) H2O range
• Simple to operate by adjusting an air regulator in the control panel
• Control panel can be conveniently located remote from the AUTOVAC 2
• Rapid response to changes
• Actuated by mill air pressure (60 psi or 414 kPa minimum)
• Controls set p by either bleeding air into the system or regulating the vacuum source
• Wide capacity range, from 0-500 SCFM (0-14.6 m/min)

Construction Features

• All body components manufactured in 316L stainless steel or other noncorrosive materials
• 3" (76.2 mm) Victaulic mild steel supply connection
• 4" (101.6 mm) Victaulic mild steel unit connection
• Low maintenance
• Easily taken apart for cleaning
• Large valve ports to minimize plugging and pressure drop

Optional Accessories

• Triple valve bypass assembly to allow maintenance of individual AUTOVAC 2 units on the run
• High visibility manometer panels produce a graphic display of vacuum levels
• Remote control using a 4-20 mA input for connecting to DCS
• PLC connection for automatic regulation of p from gamma gage or other consistency information
